Where has the time gone? Here we are and it's mid 2011. I guess all that saddle time keeps up from sitting here up dating the Website. We do have lots of pics on our Facebook profiles but I'll try to put some up here as well.
2011 so far has found us at Rancho Oso Campground in February, Bear Valley Springs Equestrian Center for the Fourth of July weekend, and many day rides out and about. Two big trips still planned for the Labor Day weekend and the first of October....

OCTOBER 2010 CAMPING AT CASPERS WILDERNESS PARK

Jim and I had a great time and plan on spending many weekends back at Caspers....

JD and Ellie at the OLD CORRAL Water Tank

March 2010 !! Spring has sprung and the horses are dropping hair like mad!! Show season has started and the calander is getting full. New pictures on Ellie's Page and a new puppy named Gidget running our household.....Lots of fun!! Never a dull moment.

Gidget born December 18, 2009

So cute I could just eat her up.....
STORM WATCH 2010 ..... On our new proerty we have a ditch that cuts the back half off from the front half. One of the the first things Jim did was put in two culverts so that we could drive across to the back and use the lot for the horses. We have sucessfully finshed putting up pens and the arena, round pen and tack room just in time for the first real rain of the season....

Hello friends, the first of the new year finds us here at the Fly'n CJ healthy and employed. The horsed are all settled into thier new home and Jim and I have finally moved the last panel for the last time.... I think. Still need to set up the Hot Walker but have to decide where to put it.

I guess the latest news is Jim is now Team Roping off of JD and doing pretty good. JD's got cow! Dusty is in full time training for time being  and Doc is 33 years old this year (Doc crossed the rainbow bride this summer. Age and hard work had finally cought up to him and we just couldn't make him go thru another cold desert winter)....AND I bought a new horse this weekend.. I miss Max so terribly and Dusty is just too green for me to ride (remember I'm a big chicken) so I set out to find a packer to go show on....Well I found her, Right here in Phelan... She is double registered AQHA and APHA. Technically she is an Appendix QH but has qualifying white to get regular paint papers... Check out Ellie's page her
'Roll Me A Double"
UPDATE: 3 weeks later
I cancelled my Therapy appt and am back in the saddle. Everything has healed up and I'm 100%. That was scary.....
11/16/09 Guess who???? I'm the one who never breaks anything and never has more than a cold or sore muscles.......OH WELL now I own a pair of brite shiny crutches to go with my sexy black boot....

I have Jim scheduled to take my lesson this week on Dusty....But I'm already getting better and walking in my cowboy boots....Well some might call it a limp, or a gimp but after being on crutches I call it walking!!!! I don't think I'm going to need physical therapy...YEAH!!!!

Sept 2009 WE'VE MOVED!!! The horses and kids have been packed up and gone east to Phelan, CA. Not out of state, just across the desert floor to the Victor Valley. Stop back by soon.

Feb 2009 *Wow, with all the recent rain we have gotten it is truly a joy to look out the window and see green fields and actually get to go ride thru them. Here in the Antelope Valley we are not accustomed to having anything but brown dead weeds and tumble weeds (rolling by). Jim and I have been out riding nearly every day between storms and this last week of February 2009 has been the most enjoyable weather we have seen a long time.

Here is a picture of Max and JD out on pasture after a ride. They never lifted their heads to come up for air!!!
